Senior DevOps Engineer
Join our remote team as a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on a highly scalable and elastic microservice-based platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and automation tools to support our cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with development teams to ensure high levels of availability, reliability, and scalability in a dynamic Agile development environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of features in a highly competitive industry.
responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and automation tools for cloud-based solutions
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure high levels of availability, reliability, and scalability in a dynamic Agile development environment
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery
- Providing technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
- Ensuring continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Mentoring and guiding less experienced team members, helping them enhance their skills and grow their careers
- Participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Actively contributing to architectural and technical discussions
- Preparing technical documentation like HLD and LLD based on the architect's discussion
requirements
- At least 3 years of production experience in DevOps engineering
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure for designing and managing cloud-based solutions
- Ability to design and implement scalable and elastic microservice-based platforms using Kubernetes
- Expertise in Bash and Python scripting for automation and infrastructure as code
- Experience in Docker for application packaging and deployment
- Expertise in Linux for system administration and scripting purposes
- Familiarity with Microservice Architecture Pattern for building scalable applications
- Knowledge of Sonar for code quality and integration with CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with Content Hub Administration for content management
- Experience with OAuth token-based authentication protocol and PCI and Security Coding Standards
- Familiarity with unit testing framework and ability to perform unit and system testing of application code
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with Service bus architecture implementation, blue-green deployment strategy, and other latest Azure technologies
