Senior DevOps Engineer
Join our team as a remote Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for end-to-end configuration and management of DevOps services, working closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure high-quality and efficient deployment processes. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and shape the future of our systems and infrastructure.
responsibilities
- Design and build infrastructure and deployment processes for cloud-based applications
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using IaC practices and tools such as Terraform
- Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and efficient deployment processes
- Troubleshoot issues in production environments and implement effective solutions
- Ensure security and compliance of infrastructure and services
- Continuously improve processes and tools to increase efficiency and scalability
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure for managing cloud-based infrastructure and services
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes package management
- Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery
- Experience with Kubernetes and AKS for container orchestration and management
- Experience with MySQL for database management and optimization
- Familiarity with Kafka and GraphQL for data streaming and API management
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and configuration management
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, at an upper-intermediate level or higher

- Experience with Azure App Insights for monitoring and logging
- Experience with Azure Functions for serverless computing
